It could be related to my old passion for maths, and my childhood obsession with lists. In school I'd be sad when I didn't get enough homework for maths, and I would make lists about *anything* - I have tons of old notebooks from my childhood that are just filled with lists.
This insanity in me was evoked once again today, when I read on SPQR Blues artist Klio's blog about her goal to basically learn drawing properly by finishing 10,000 drawings. She says she's "a mere 2100 drawings or so into the count" (where drawings equal comic panels, I presume).
And then, I just HAD to find out where I'm standing in this.
I only count the comics that are inked, and finished or in active progress. Strips or half-pages count as one page each.
An exception to the ink rule is the comic about "Ana and Tinne" (mentioned here), which was pretty much my first continuous comic, with 18 pages and two concluded stories. Then, there are a couple of old, inked and concluded short comics that make me vomit, which I didn't include in the count, because they are too crappy.
All in all, these are the figures:
Comic pages: 422
I hope I didn't forget any comics. I might have miscounted the panels slightly, but this is a good estimation (+/- 20?).
